Modular Windows (codenamed Haiku) is an embedded version of Windows 3.1x which was mainly used on the Tandy Video Information System (VIS). It was also used as a base for standalone WinPad builds and the minimal Windows 3.1 environment for Windows 9x setup.
It was discontinued in 1994 and was later replaced in 1996 by Windows CE which has been used on other devices, including the Sega Dreamcast, Handheld PC and the Pocket PC (later Windows Mobile).
