Windows Mobile 7 is a canceled release of Windows Mobile. As of 2025, no builds of the operating system have been shared.
Cancellation[edit | edit source]
Throughout the development, Microsoft realized that the operating system would receive criticism upon release due to its outdated concept. The concept from the Apple iPhone was adapted instead, leading to the cancellation of Windows Mobile 7.
It was eventually replaced with Windows Phone 7.
