Windows Factory OS (or FactoryOS) is a version of Microsoft Windows based on Windows Core OS. It has a shell similar to that of Windows 10 IoT Core. It is intended to be used by OEMs and manufactures to create and test apps and drivers for future versions of Windows. It is designed to be configured as a reliable and lightweight operating system that boots up quicker, allowing for a more reliable workflow for OEMs and manufacturers.
