Features[edit | edit source]

Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 adds the MultiPoint Dashboard which allows non-administrators to monitor and interact with user desktops of all stations on the server. It also adds the ability to create stations on virtual machines running the Premium edition of WMS 2012.

It added Disk protection which is a feature that can be deployed in WMS servers that discards all changes made to the server during user sessions and restores the server to its original state.

It also added the MultiPoint Server Connector which allows the monitoring of client computers running Windows 7 and Windows 8.
