Mac OS X 10.1 "Puma" is a version of Mac OS X that was released on 2001-09-25. It was more successful than it's predecessor, Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah because of the inclusion of features that existed on Mac OS 9 but not on Cheetah, and it fixed several stability issues.
