Mac OS X Puma build 5G27 is a beta build of Mac OS X Puma 10.1.

Branding[edit | edit source]
All Apple logos have had their colors changed to light blue. This includes the menu bar, the boot screen, and when booting into the installer. Additionally, this build's version number has been changed to "10.1 (Pre-release)".
Boot screen[edit | edit source]
The boot screen window and its elements have been made larger.
Disk Utility[edit | edit source]
Disk Utility now supports CD/RW and RAID storage.
Applications[edit | edit source]
- iTunes has been updated to version 1.1.2.
- Acrobat Reader 5.0 and Java Web Start have been added.
- Internet Explorer received a new splash screen.
System Preferences[edit | edit source]
The Universal Access panel has been added, which provides several accessibility-related options.
