OS X Yosemite (10.10) is a version of the Mac OS X operating system released in 2014 by Apple. This version includes major interface overhauls, replacing the older icons with newer, flat designs that resembled the designs on iOS 7. The old default font (Lucida Grande) was changed to Helvetica, until Mac OS X El Capitan, where it was changed again to San Francisco.
