New features and changes[edit | edit source]
Setup[edit | edit source]
The Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch localized files were added as a package to the installer.
Out-of-box experience[edit | edit source]
Most OOBE sections received a reword. The "A Few More Questions" section of the OOBE received some minor changes. This includes shortening the line about completing the registration process, and combining the "I would like Apple to contact me with important news and information related to my purchase" and "I would like companies with related products to contact me." into one option. The "Get iTools" section has had the "I'm not ready for iTools." line reworded to "I'll set up an iTools account later."
iTunes[edit | edit source]
This is the first build to include iTunes as a preinstalled application. Specifically, this build includes version 1.1.2f5.
System Preferences[edit | edit source]
- The "Desktop Pictures" panel was renamed to "Desktop" and moved to the Personal subcategory.
- The Add-Ons category was removed.
