Mac System Software 2.x is a version of the Mac System Software released by Apple in April 1985. It includes support for AppleTalk, and showcases this by supporting Apple's LaserWriter that utilizes it and a more minimal version of the Finder called, MiniFinder. Later updates for this version also introduced support for the Hierarchical File System (HFS), intended to support a hard drive.
