Windows 11 build 26120.2702 is a build of Windows 11 2024 Update. It was released to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel on 13 December 2024 as the KB5037898 enablement update to build 26100.2702 (KB5048761). This build was distributed as a checkpoint cumulative update that contains incremental changes since build 26100.1742.

The following previously introduced features and changes have been gradually rolled out:
- Update to the WebAuthn Plugin Authenticator APIs for supporting a plugin authentication model for passkeys, which lays the foundation of the ability to choose a third-party provider as an additional choice (initially implemented in build 22635.4515)
- The advanced camera configuration dialog in the camera properties page under Bluetooth & other devices > Camera in the Settings app with with the extra "Media type" option for choosing a specific camera resolution (previously implemented in builds 26120.1542 and 27744; can be activated manually by enabling the

The filtering for recommended websites on the Start menu has been improved. This change is gradually rolled out, but can be activated manually by enabling the 50460862
velocity staging key.
Settings[edit | edit source]
The ability to change time zones via Time & Language > Date & time has been once again available to standard (non-admin) users.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue where if pointer trails were enabled, the mouse cursor may become invisible with a black box behind it.
- Mitigated an issue where pressing the ⇧ Shift+Alt keyboard shortcut would get stuck down after the Windows Hello prompt appeared in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue that was leading to the mouse cursor unexpectedly stuttering when moving it around sometimes.
- Fixed an underlying issue that was resulting in some games appearing oversaturated when using Auto HDR.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the UAC blocked app prompt "Your organization used App Control for Business to block this app" to appear when attempting to use or install certain third-party apps after rolling back from build 26120.2510 to build 26120.2415.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
General[edit | edit source]
Performing a PC reset under System > Recovery in the Settings app may cause the KB5037898 enablement update to be uninstalled unexpectedly, and the build number to be reverted to 26100.
Recall[edit | edit source]
- Clicking links within Recall to submit feedback may experience a delay in loading the Feedback Hub app.
- The message "Make sure Recall is saving snapshots" may unexpectedly show while the Settings page for Recall shows saving snapshots is enabled.
- Recall may not currently work with some accessibility applications.
- Click to Do may not highlight any info on screen if there is no content on a connected external monitor in extended mode.
