Windows 11 build 26100.1742 (ge_release_svc_prod1) is an update of build 26100.1 and the general availability build of Windows 11 2024 Update. It can be obtained by installing the KB5043080 cumulative update, which was released on 10 September 2024. The cumulative update to this build was available to all users regardless of whether they are enrolled to the Windows Insider Program. The installation media of this build were then made available on 1 October 2024 as part of the public launch of Windows 11 2024 Update.

User Account Control now prompts for elevated credentials when Windows Installer repairs an application if needed. This behavior can be toggled off by applying the following registry key:
