Gadgets[edit | edit source]

The Stocks gadget has been updated.
The Weather gadget was re-added after being removed in build 5381.
Calendar, Contacts, and Picture Puzzle received new icons in the gadget picker.
"RSS Feeds" was redesigned and renamed to "Feed Headlines"
Calculator and Recycling Bin were removed.

The shutdown sound was reverted to the logoff sound heard in the RTM.
Windows Defender now uses the RTM background gradient.
The banner to Windows Mail has been updated.
In Control Panel, Text to Speech has received its final icon.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

Setup[edit | edit source]

Setup has a non-genuine Windows watermark.

Language installation may fail.

Graphics driver[edit | edit source]

The default VGA graphics adapter is very buggy, often having the screen flicker through resolutions and cannot have resolutions higher than 800x600 pixels. However, if you upgrade from a previous build, you can have 1024x768 and higher.
