Windows 11 build 22631.1906 is a build of Windows 11, version 23H2. It was released to a subset of Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 22 June 2023 as the KB5027397 enablement update to build 22621.1906 (KB5027311) for new features included, which may not be enabled by default and instead be rolled out.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Shell[edit | edit source]

  • The ability to hide the date and time in the system tray and the changes to the notification badges on the taskbar, initially introduced in build 23440, have been backported to this build.
  • The new Diagnose network problems option in the context menu on network icon in the system tray, initially introduced in build 23440, have been backported to this build.
  • The redesigned network flyout on the lock screen, initially implemented in builds 25193 and 23471, has been backported to this build.
  • The redesigned Windows Firewall Security Alert dialog, initially implemented in builds 25267 and 23466.1001, has been backported to this build.

Settings[edit | edit source]

  • The following changes, initially introduced in 23466.1001, have been backported to this build:
    • The new "More adapter options" link under Network & Internet > Advanced network settings for accessing advanced properties for network adapters and Internet properties.
    • The new "View Wi-Fi security key" link under Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks for viewing Wi-Fi passwords for known networks.
    • The updated Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Data Usage page with additional options to set daily and weekly data limits, as well as the ability to show how far a data limit has been exceeded.
    • The ability to join Bluetooth Personal Area networks under the Bluetooth & devices > Devices for paired devices that are sharing Internet over Bluetooth.
  • The redesigned Bluetooth & devices > Wheel page, initially introduced in build 23424, has been backported to this build.
  • Right-clicking on a Win32 app in the Start menu and choosing "Uninstall" will now redirect the user to the Apps > Installed apps page.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

The support for bridging adapters via the netsh command line, initially implemented in builds 25370 and 23466.1001, has been backported to this build.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

Addressed a compatibility issue related to an unsupported use of the registry.
