Sync Center (formerly Sync Manager in early builds) is a component of Microsoft Windows that allows users to set up their computers with a network server so that they can manage offline files and folders and check recent sync activity over a network.
For Sync Center to function properly, it runs in the background as "Microsoft Sync Center" and mobsync.exe
.
Sync Center's functionality is only present on the Professional/Business SKUs of Windows Vista and later. The program is present on the Home SKUs, but its functionality is not present and clicking on the "Manage offline files" link will do nothing.
