File Explorer[edit | edit source]
- The ability to open desktop folders and external folder links in new tabs within an existing File Explorer window, previously implemented in build 22635.4515 and gradually rolled out in build 22635.4580, has been temporarily disabled due to some issues. It can still be activated manually by enabling the

- The Recommended section under the Home page has been available to all users apart from Microsoft Entra ID accounts. The section can also now show local files. These changes are disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the

The following interactive cards have been added to the Home page. These cards are gradually rolled out to managed commercial devices with Education, Enterprise and IoT Enterprise SKUs:

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
Users will now have a standard taskbar after restoring from a backup via out-of-box experience on a new device.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- When opening and then minimizing a File Explorer window, the window may not render correctly when restoring it.
- The Home page in the Settings app may crash in certain cases.
- The aforementioned interactive cards may unexpectedly show up under the Home page in the Settings app on non-managed devices (with Home and Professional SKUs) signed in with Microsoft accounts.
