Archival[edit source]

I have archived the past discussions into a new archive accessible by the template next to this message. It was getting way too lengthy. --Sporb (talk) 04:34, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Warning[edit source]

I see that your file upload block is now done, but you also uploaded a image with fake transparency. I have never seen someone upload a image with fake transparency before, but you can use AeroShot to keep the aero effects (it might keep the aero effects, but it's possible that this is not true). Remember when i promised to not warn you anymore? Well, I had to continue to keep warning you --User3412 (talk) 14:02, 11 January 2023 (UTC)

Perhaps you should also stop minimodding users and leave that to actual admins, User3412. However, I am going to say that you should look carefully of the image output as indeed we can't accept images with fake transparency effects. If needed, resort to AeroShot or use the classic theme. I used AeroShot. Not a fake transparency. --TheRealToriel2011 (talk) 22:06, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
It's definitely fake because the "checkerboard" on normal transparent images is still visible. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 23:57, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
Oops, i used the wrong AeroShot. Sorry... --TheRealToriel2011 (talk) 02:26, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Or you have used another screenshot tool which supposedly "creates" transparent images. I highly recommend using the original AeroShot when you are using Windows 7 or a newer fork of AeroShot when you are using Windows 10 or 11 since they create images with real transparency. You (TheRealToriel2011) somehow forgot to remove the VMware Tools installer from your macOS VM (as seen in your recently uploaded screenshot), so the shot has been marked as having custom graphics. Read the screenshot guidelines to make sure you can upload a good screenshot in the future. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 04:35, 5 March 2023 (UTC)

Most likely they screenshotted before installing VMware Tools. No transparent GUI occurs on macOS when the video card isn't installed. Windows logo (1985).svg MyFaceNeverWhenTALK.EXE 12:02, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
While yes, it's a possibility, having a VMware Tools installer shortcut on the desktop still counts as having custom graphics. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 13:40, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
