Question on Windows 10 page
Seeing as MS are switching to a periodical release system, it is pointless to put everything after this change on one 'Windows 10' page. We should do similar to BA Wiki, and separate it into 'TH2' and 'RS1' etc. pages. Do you think this is a good solution? Tau Ceti ~ Windows 10 in 640K! 10:30, 20 December 2016 (GMT)

Me ToMas edits Windows 1.0
I'm sorry AlphaBeta, me is ToMas, but i edit Windows 1.0 (For example: Microsoft Windows Beta Release rename to Microsoft Windows 1.0 Beta Release, etc.). I change Fake to Unconfirmed, or Confirm to Unconfirmed, or I create more pages. --ToMas (talk) 13:14, 27 April 2017 (GMT)
Redstone 2 Feature Update question
Should we add it to Redstone 2? Just wondering because on buildfeed.net, there is a feature update for (what I think) for Windows 10 Mobile. --Meow2004 (talk) 23:25, 17 May 2017 (BST)
New Community Portal Real?
Is the new community portal real or fake? Is dissing octvct. And the title is a bit bigger than the other one. --LilShootDawg (talk) 16:37, 22 May 2017 (BST)
No, that was just made by a spammer who hated the current portal for some reason. --Ovctvct (talk) 16:38, 22 May 2017 (BST)
Okay --LilShootDawg (talk) 18:50, 23 May 2017 (BST)
There's a problem
Over on User Talk: LangsamSpieler there's a warning about sending a person the WannaCry ransomware, so you need to check it out. Fast! https://betawiki.net/wiki/User_talk:LangsamSpieler#Warning.21.21.21
- Langsamspieler is blocked now, because it was his last chance and he won't listen.--Ovctvct (talk) 15:51, 31 May 2017 (BST)

WHAT WAS YOUR AND YOUR FRiENDS PROBLEM WiTH MY ARTiCLES? I SAYED SORRY SO MUCH TiME ON THE "Windows Vista Build 5001" ARTiCLE FOR SAYiNG "FAKE" PLEASE ANSWER ME, I JUST WANT THiS! --Microsoft Windows XP (talk) 21:08, 21 November 2017 (BST)
- Hey, do you remember me? I'm the AlphaBeta that warned you several times before your ban. I appreciate when our users put effort in their articles. However, my appreciation doesn't extend to articles with a single sentence followed by a bigass picture that has been annotated in mspaint. You didn't even bother to follow the Guidelines to start with. Don't expect me to tolerate content that doesn't follow the basic conventions that every other article follows. So let's take a look at the articles that you mentioned:
- Windows Odyssey. You tried to summarize BA Wiki's article into one sentence (and ended up with an absolute non-sense) and then added a bunch of clearly fake screenshots for illustrations. Your link to the BA Wiki's article pretty much ruins the point of the article.
- Windows Odyssey (attempt #2). You again tried to summarize the BA's article into one sentence and ended up with an absolute non-sense, followed with a bunch of links to antitrust documents with no description at all.
- Windows Triton. You again turned BA Wiki's article into a strange soup of bold text in caps. The illustrating picture taken from BA Wiki was even annotated with a brush in mspaint - that's just ridiculous.
- Windows Vista build 5001. You replaced the original article with claims that were not proven to be true. You would know, if you had actually read the BA thread...
- In conclusion, I would like to thank you for your politeness that you wrote your comment with. In all seriousness, you should first try to learn some good manners before trying to get me to get rid of the Hall of Shame. Or maybe work a little on your editing skills. Any of the two will work. --AlphaBeta (talk) 00:11, 14 December 2017 (GMT)
- Okay, this is really cringe-worthy and i have to make a comment on it to fix this... Hi, i am the cringe-worthy kid that blamed you for "Moving my articles into HallOfShame" a.k.a Microsoft Windows XP (Yeah acting like operating systems is fun haha /sarc). I want to say sorry to everyone using this website for every cringy stuff i have done to this website cough blaming staff members like you with an absolutely horrible grammar for my own mistakes cough. You guys are cool and i just wasted your time and gave cringe to you. I am also sorry for using your website illegally with a VPN but i really had to send this to you. I felt really bad about what i have done. I thought that the "HallOfShame" thing was actually for making fun of people who made those articles because of the word "Shame". I improved my editing skills a lot and i learned good manners. I am also a lot more mature than i used to be. So, in a nutshell, thank you for acting polite even after what i have done. Your website is beautiful. Great job! Do not worry, i won't use this VPN for any other illegal job. I am also sorry for that. This is my first and last message/edit/article on this website from my VPN...--193.70.46.140 12:20, 8 November 2018 (GMT)Microsoft Windows XP (Yeah i know right that name is kinda cringe-worthy)
- Even though you might apologize, using a VPN or IP to evade a ban is already a worse thing... BF10 (talk) 12:47, 8 November 2018 (GMT)
- He's not really evading a ban, just saying that he is sorry for being cringe-worthy. --LilShootDawg (talk) 18:06, 14 November 2018 (GMT)
- How is using a VPN to evade a ban "not really evading a ban"? Please elaborate. --AlphaBeta (talk) 19:02, 14 November 2018 (GMT)
- He just said sorry for being cringe-worthy. He didn't vandalize the site or anything. --LilShootDawg (talk) 19:11, 14 November 2018 (GMT)

Someone posting non-useful info.
In recent changes, someone with the ip of 73.246.61.219 is posting useless info of mainly longhorn builds, can you revert the changes back? thanks --Meow2004 (talk) 17:56, 28 December 2017 (GMT)
Image uploading issue
I can no longer upload any files after a MediaWiki update it seems since December 29, 2017. If I try to upload anything, I get "The file you uploaded seems to be empty. This might be due to a typo in the filename. Please check whether you really want to upload this file". Searching up the error seems to report being an error related to the PHP settings for file uploads or a temporary upload folder, so it is out of reach for me. If you know anyone that hosts the server for the website, please report them this issue and fix it so I can upload images.

- Apparently now this site has a lot of broken things such as placeholder text, and I still can't upload. I'm sure that the server has to be fixed ASAP. BF10 (talk) 21:36, 4 January 2018 (GMT)

Hello
Hello. I am a public relations manager from Microsoft. I have fired that stupid "legal representative" and I would like to say sorry. But our company really do not want your site to host infomation (especially downloads) about our beta software products. Please, can you remove download infomation on your website? Thanks!--192.241.163.23 08:52, 8 February 2018 (GMT)
- No, you're not a Microsoft PR manager. You're probably a 13 y.o. kid that thinks that it's funny to speak on behalf on Microsoft (it's cringey at most). If BetaWiki receives a legit cease and desist letter from Microsoft, then of course we will comply. However, an anonymous message posted from a Digital Ocean IP address can't be considered as such. --AlphaBeta (talk) 10:49, 13 February 2018 (GMT)
- He is likely a impersonator. --113.20.101.202 06:30, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
