Android 11 is the eleventh major version of Google's Android OS. It was released on 8 September 2020 to AOSP and actively supported Google Pixel devices, with many other OEMs like Samsung following suit in porting to the new major release.

Android 11 added support for devices with foldable screens, as this form factor was growing in popularity.

The platform was supported continuously with monthly releases and Quarterly Platform Releases (QPRs). With Android 11 QPR1, Android 11 QPR2, and Android 11 QPR3 being released. As of February 2024, the last Android Security Bulletin backport patches were officially shipped. The highest Security Patch Level an Android 11 device can obtain officially is 2024-02-05.
