Android 10 is the tenth major version of Google's Android OS, which was released on 3 September 2019 to AOSP and actively supported Google Pixel devices. With many other OEMs like Samsung following suit in porting to the new major release.
The platform was supported continuously with monthly releases and Quarterly Platform Releases (QPRs). With Android 10 QPR1, Android 10 QPR2, and Android 10 QPR3 being released. As of February 2023, the last Android Security Bulletin backport patches were officially shipped. The highest Security Patch Level an Android 10 device could obtain officially is 2023-02-05.
