Windows Server 2016 build 10586 (th2_release) is the official Technical Preview 4 build of Windows Server 2016 (based on its client counterpart) which was released to the public by Microsoft on 19 November 2015.
Components for this build's server editions were additionally released in the form of a set of Repair Content Source Packages, which are used by the DISM /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
utility to repair an existing Windows installation.
Unlike other server builds, this build uses production code signing and as a result can be booted on the current date.
Changes[edit | edit source]

- ↑ Was not publicly released by Microsoft; included as part of repair content sources.
- ↑ These SKUs are only available in the Repair Content Package sources for its client counterpart; they must be manually staged through the DISM utility in order to install and use them.
- ↑ The Web Server base edition lacks an applicable timebomb in its product policies as they were compiled using an RTM configuration.
