Windows 10 build 10586 (th2_release) is the official RTM build for the Windows 10 November Update. It was released on 5 November 2015 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring, on 9 November 2015 to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring and to general availability on 12 November 2015 to users of build 10240 and also to users who have not yet upgraded from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 as part of the free upgrade deal, replacing 10240 there as well. It's the last build of Windows available as a checked/debug compile.
It contains fit-and-finish improvements and bugfixes, but few, if any, new features are included.
Changes[edit | edit source]
The only noteworthy changes in this build are as follows:
- The timebomb has been removed from the product policies. In addition, this build (and subsequent update compiles from
th2_release
and related sub-branches) now use production code signing (except for the checked/debug compile, which still uses flightsigning for some reason), and can therefore be used on the current date. - The preview end-user license agreement has been substituted for the one used in RTM releases of Windows.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- The checked/debug compile of this build is flight-signed and thus requires the correct BIOS date to be set in order to boot.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- ↑ These SKUs are only available in this build's Repair Content Package sources; they must be manually staged through the DISM utility in order to install and use them.
- ↑ OEM-specific Windows 8.1 edition released exclusively for the HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1;[1][2] not to be confused with the newer
ProfessionalEducation(N)
SKUs first introduced in Windows 10.
