Windows 98 build 1910.2 is the official Far East Release Candidate 4 build of Windows 98. A picture of the Korean localization release CDs for this build and build 1721.3 were first shown in a BetaArchive thread on 14 August 2013,[1] and a CD of the Japanese localization release was later sold on Yahoo Auctions.[2]
Additional photographs and screenshots depicting the Japanese CD release were later posted onto the aforementioned forum on 10 December 2023.[3][4] The installation media for the x86 PC/AT and NEC PC-98 architectures was eventually uploaded onto the Internet Archive on 18 December 2023.[5]
The build was compiled an hour before the English RTM release. It also lacks a timebomb compared to other Windows 98 builds, allowing it to be installed on the current date.
