Windows 98 build 1581 is a beta 2 build of Windows 98. This build includes one new application, Microsoft Chat.

It is recommended to run this build on 86Box or VARCem, otherwise you will get errors relating to Internet Explorer during the System Configuration portion of the setup. Should you get these errors, you must close them out to continue. As a result, many applications will not work should you get these errors.
