Windows 7 build 7600.16385 is the official RTM build of Windows 7. This build was released to manufacturing on 22 July 2009 and was released to the public three months later on 22 October 2009.
This release would later be used as the base for Windows Embedded Standard 7.
Changes from build 7600.16384 include fixing the Internet Explorer 8 security issues and Help and Support now displays content offline. In addition, there are unreleased versions of Windows 7 including E editions for all available SKUs. The aforementioned E editions do not contain the Internet Explorer web browser.
Officially, a system running Windows Vista SP1 or newer is required to upgrade, although the installer also works on older Windows Vista versions as well as Windows XP and earlier.
