Windows 7 build 7600.16384 is an RTM Escrow build of Windows 7 that was shared on 13 July 2009[1] and removed both the watermark and the timebomb. It is an earlier compile of the official RTM build.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
Internet Explorer[edit | edit source]
Despite being identical to the RTM, this build contains a bug in Internet Explorer 8 that caused security issues, thus preventing it from being the RTM build. This caused build 7600.16385 to become the RTM build, as it patches the said bug.
