Windows 11 build 21385 (fs_dev6_flt) is an internal build of Windows 11, which was found by BetaWorld members on 8 June 2023, along with 21370, 21376 and 21380.[1] It was later shared on 22 October 2024.

Changes[edit | edit source]

Wallpaper[edit | edit source]

This is the earliest known build to replace the older Hero default wallpaper with Bloom, a computer-generated image depicting a piece of blue fabric on top of a blue background that largely resembles a rose flower.

Out-of-box experience[edit | edit source]

A new first logon animation design has been implemented, now showing three blue lights moving around the screen in an infinite loop.

Internet Explorer[edit | edit source]

Internet Explorer 11's functionality has been disabled and attempting to run its executable file (iexplore.exe) will open Edge instead. It is still possible to run Internet Explorer if ieframe.dll is replaced with a copy from an older build or if it is invoked through the Internet Options Control Panel applet. Subsequent builds of Windows 11 would ultimately remove the associated executable for Internet Explorer altogether.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]

The reworked folder icon in the File Explorer application has been slightly updated to indicate if any content is present in the directory.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

  • When updating folder options, the File Explorer window might flicker in the background.
  • Many areas still use the old Windows 10 branding, including the Setup and the boot menu.

Lenovo IM Controller[edit | edit source]

The files for a Lenovo IM controller service exist in the C:\Windows\Lenovo directory in the publicly accessible copy.
