Windows 10 build 19045.3754 is a build of Windows 10 2022 Update. It can be obtained by installing the KB5032278 update, which was released to Windows insiders in the Release Preview Channel on 16 November 2023.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Windows Copilot[edit | edit source]

The Windows Copilot feature, first introduced as part of Windows 11 build 23481 has been backported, but disabled. Like build 25992, it appears in the form of a colorful icon positioned next to the Action Center.

It is possible to manually enable it by toggling on Velocity staging keys 46686174, 47530616 and 44755019 and applying the below registry modification onto the current user account's registry hive:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Copilot\BingChat]
IsUserEligible=dword:00000001

Restart the machine after applying the above changes.

File Explorer[edit | edit source]

This build reverts changes made to File Explorer's address and search bars in the Windows 10 November 2019 Update, likely to comply with regulations set forth by the European Union's Digital Services Act due to the modern search box's reliance on the EdgeHTML rendering engine. As a result, the following adjustments were made:

  • The vertical height of the address and search bars has decreased.
  • The modern search box is now always disabled, irrespective of whether the current directory is the Control Panel.
  • A bug preventing the legacy search box from rendering placeholder text has been fixed.

Shell[edit | edit source]

  • The News and interests flyout has been made larger.
  • New functionalities have been added for the app defaults feature.[1]

Windows Update[edit | edit source]

  • The "Get the latest updates as soon as they are available" toggle has been implemented to Home and Pro SKUs without organization management.
  • Windows Update opt-in notifications when signing in has been added.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

  • Copilot is currently not supported on vertical taskbar locations and multiple monitors.
  • The Refresh button is largely unstable and clicking links or closing Microsoft Edge or Copilot may cause Copilot and Microsoft Edge to crash.
