Windows Server 2003 build 2430 is a build of Windows Server 2003. Only the Datacenter Server SKU of this build is currently available, while the Server and Advanced Server SKUs have yet to be found.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- It drops the classic Windows flag used from Windows NT 3.1 Advanced Server to 2000 Server for the one used from Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2, although many resources still use the old flag (including boot screen).
- Title bars now use solid colors instead of gradients.
- Shutdown Event Tracker has been added and enabled by default; the user is now being asked to provide a reason for shutting down or restarting, as well as after the system shutted down or restarted unexpectedly.
- Added the Luna theme and removed the Watercolor theme.
- The copyright date of
winver.exehas been updated from 2000 to 2001. This persists up to Windows Server 2003 build 3604.
