Windows 8 build 8504 is a pre-RTM build of Windows 8, which was released to Microsoft partners participating in the Ecosystem Engineering Access Program (EEAP). The build was pre-installed as part of a small sampling of early Samsung Ativ Tab review devices around the time of its announcement at IFA Berlin 2012.[1][2]
Similarly to the unidentified December 2011 build, build 8375, and build 8509, despite not being publicly released by Microsoft, the standard set of built-in Metro applications is included by default.
