Windows 8 build 8186 is a build of Windows 8. Three screenshots of this build were released as part of a Q&A blog post documenting the DaRT 8 Beta toolsets on the official Windows Blog.[1] It is the earliest confirmed build to remove the Start button on the taskbar, which had been present since Windows 95.

This build refers to itself as its predecessor despite references to Windows 8 appearing on the DaRT recovery image wizard.
