Windows 11 build 26120.1930 is a build of Windows 11 2024 Update. It was released to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel on 4 October 2024 as the KB5037898 enablement update to build 26100.1930 (KB5044388). This build was distributed as a checkpoint cumulative update that contains incremental changes since build 26100.1742.

Settings[edit | edit source]

The new section under Personlization > Text input for configuring the Copilot key on keyboard, previously implemented in build 26120.1843, has been rolled out to all users.

Task Manager[edit | edit source]

  • The ability to show the disk drive interface next to the drive type under the Performance page, initially implemented in build 22635.4225, has been ported to this build. It's disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 51978387 velocity staging key.
  • The redesigned dialog for disconnecting the selected user, previously implemented in build 22635.4225, has been ported to this build. It's disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 53330962 velocity staging key.

Windows Sandbox[edit | edit source]

The Windows Sandbox Client Preview app, previously implemented in build 26120.1843, has been rolled out to all users.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

Fixed an issue that was causing the boot menu to not render correctly on dual boot devices, such as wrong color or display in half the available space.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

  • Attempting to install this build may fail with the 0x800f0983 error.
  • Clicking or tapping on a letter on Start menu's All apps list may cause it to break. Restarting explorer.exe may resolve this issue.
