Windows 11 build 26100.994 is an update of build 26100.1. It can be obtained by installing the KB5039304 cumulative update, which was released to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel on 20 June 2024.

A new companion panel has been added next to the Start menu for managing Android mobile devices that are connected via the Phone Link app. The Phone Link app version 1.24052.124.0 (or higher) is required for this feature to work. This change is disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 48433719
and 48697323
velocity staging keys.
Taskbar[edit | edit source]
The ability to show the search box on the tablet-optimized taskbar, initially implemented in builds 22635.3640, 26120.670 and 26217, has been added. This feature is disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 49559611
velocity staging key.

The Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) profiles has been updated for certain mobile operators.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Addressed an issue that was causing Windows Defender Application Control to fail to verify the policies of some apps.
- Addressed an issue that was causing WDAC to report a certain class of its policies as not active or not authorized.
- Addressed an issue that was causing DWM to stop responding.
- Addressed an issue relating to Unified Write Filter that was causing an access denied exception when Windows Management Instrumentation API calls to shut down or restart Windows.
- Addressed an issue believed to be the underlying cause of stutters in some animations (dropping frames), particularly with Task View.
