Windows 11 build 26120.670 is a build of Windows 11 2024 Update. It was released to the Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel on 17 May 2024 as the KB5037898 enablement update to build 26100.670 (KB5037869).
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
Taskbar[edit | edit source]
The ability to show the search box on the tablet-optimized taskbar has been added. This feature is disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 49559611 velocity staging key.
Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]
A new MaxComputationForNsec3Validation registry setting has been implemented to determine the number of computations for NSEC3 (next secure record version 3) validation (1,000 by default; 9,600 in max).
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue where the Network Locations header was missing in the This PC section of File Explorer.
- Addressed an issue that was causing an increase of NTLM authentication traffic.
- Addressed an issue that was causing the installation of a Windows update to fail when users have to restart the device more than once.
- Addressed an issue that was causing Virtual Secure Mode (VSM) scenarios (VPN, Windows Hello, Credential Guard, and Key Guard) to fail.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
The ⊞ Win+W keyboard shortcut may not work correctly and open the Widgets board.
