Windows 11 build 25997.1000 is a build of Windows 11 2024 Update. It was released to Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel on 15 November 2023, along with its server counterpart.

Shell[edit | edit source]
- A partially functional Refresh button has been added to the Wi-Fi section in Quick Settings for refreshing Wi-Fi network list.
- Microsoft Teams (Work or School) contacts will show in the Share flyout if users signed in with a Microsoft Entra ID.
Settings[edit | edit source]
A new option has been added under Bluetooth & devices > Phone Link for disabling Phone Link all together. This change is only available to a subset of users.
Boot environment[edit | edit source]
The boot environment now checks for a new boolean BCD option 0x16000064
; when set to true, an intermediate buffer is used when reading/writing block IO devices if the physical address of the passed in buffer does not fit into 32 bits.
Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue that was causing the
0x80004005
error when upgrading to latest Germanium builds. - Fixed an issue that was causing an increase in bugchecks after upgrading to build 25992.
- Fixed an issue where the context menu in File Explorer as well as the command bar dropdowns might go transparent sometimes.

- Navigating to the Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad page may crash the Settings app.
- Navigating to the System > Storage > System and reserved page may crash the Settings app with the

. - The "Get me up to date" toggle switch under Windows Update > Advanced Options may be grayed out after upgrading.
