Windows 11 build 22635.4435 is a build of Windows 11 2023 Update. It was released to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 25 October 2024.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Settings[edit | edit source]

  • The new section under Personlization > Text input for configuring the Copilot key on keyboard, previously disabled by default in build 22635.4291, has been gradually re-rolled out with refinements. Apps that can be launched by the Copilot key have been limited to those apps that have opted into this experience.
  • The following features and changes have been implemented into the Personlization > Dynamic Lighting page:
    • When no compatible devices are attached, the page will now show a placeholder message and Brightness and Effects controls are disabled.
    • New Forward, Backward, Outward and Inward direction options have been added to the Wave effect section, and the Forward direction option has also been added to the Gradient effect section.

Narrator[edit | edit source]

When launching Narrator, a "New shortcuts are available" dialog will pop up to inform users about new keyboard shortcuts. This dialog is gradually available.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

  • Pressing ⇧ Shift+Ctrl and clicking on a jump list item in the Start menu or taskbar will now launch that item with elevated privileges, similar to the behavior when pressing ⇧ Shift+Ctrl and clicking the app icon itself.
  • New product activation phone numbers for several regions have been added.
  • The Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) profiles has been updated for certain mobile operators.
