  • The drag-and-drop functionality between breadcrumbs in the address bar, initially implemented in build 22635.3420, has been rolled out to all users.
  • Support for compressing files into .7z and .tar archives, initially implemented in build 25992, has been backported to this build. This feature is disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 49256040 and 48433719 velocity staging keys.
  • A new "Duplicate Tab" option has been added to the tabs context menu for duplicating the selected tab. This feature is disabled by default, but can be activated manually by enabling the 45262221 and 48433719 velocity staging keys.

Miscellaneous[edit | edit source]

The Segoe UI Emoji font has been updated to version 1.45, which includes new emoji characters based on the Unicode Emoji 15.1 standard. This change was initially implemented in builds 23545 and 25967.1000.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

Internet Information Services (IIS) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) may not work after installing this build.

Start menu[edit | edit source]

A component related to upgrading and restoring data from the Windows Backup app called Global.WindowsMigration may incorrectly show under the All apps list.

Widgets[edit | edit source]

The following issues are applicable if the new position for the Widgets entry point on left-aligned taskbars (previously introduced in build 22635.3420) are enabled:

  • Toggling the Widgets option under Personalization > Taskbar in the Settings app may refresh the taskbar.
  • Swipe invocation for the Widgets board and unpinning the Widgets entry point from the taskbar may not work if the taskbar is center-aligned.
  • The Widgets board may be incorrectly positioned when Copilot is in side-by-side mode.

Copilot[edit | edit source]

  • Copilot may run automatically at startup unexpectedly after restarting Windows.
  • Voice access and Windows Ink may not work reliably if the undocking experience for Copilot is enabled.
