Windows 10 build 17000 is an unconfirmed build of Windows 10 April 2018 Update. Various screenshots of this build were posted by lucasm on the BetaWiki Discord on 17 May 2020.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
cmd.exe and several other applications determine the build number to be 0616. This is due to the build number exceeding the 14-bit integer limit; the kernel sets a 14-bit build number in the PEB to match the deprecated API GetVersion(), which at this point was used by cmd.exe to get the version number. Due to this, the build number was rolled back to 16350 after this build.
