Windows 10 build 14915 is the third officially released Insider Preview build of Windows 10 Creators Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 31 August 2016.

Most of Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and early builds of Windows 10 (original release) editions have been removed from Windows source tree as of this build.

  • Improvements to the Delivery Optimization feature that was first introduced in the November Update.

Bug fixes[edit | edit source]

  • Fixed the bug relating to the power button on the Start menu.
  • Various improvements and bug fixes.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader crashes when trying to launch it.
  • A black screen may appear when signing out and switching to another user account. Rebooting should allow the user to sign in to that account.
  • Bash may stop working after upgrading to this build. To get it to work again, go to Programs and Features in the Control Panel, navigate to "Turn Windows features on or off" or launch OptionalFeatures.exe from Search box or from the Run dialog, scroll down and tick "Windows Subsystem for Linux (beta)", click OK and then reboot.
  • The Personalization part of the Settings app will crash when you navigate to the Colors page.
  • If upgrading to this build on a Surface Pro 1 or 2, Windows may lose network connectivity.
