Findings[edit | edit source]
Old User Account Control prompt[edit | edit source]
The older Windows 8-like User Account Control dialog design is present and can be enabled by merging the following value into the registry:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\TestHooks]
"XamlCredUIAvailable"=dword:00000000
Samples page in Settings[edit | edit source]
Starting with this version, a hidden Samples page was added to the Settings app. It can be enabled by using the following registry key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel]
"EnableSamplesPage"=dword:00000001
It contains various elements designed to test the Settings app's functionality, however the AutoPlay toggle actually works.
