Talk:Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 build 282

the title and content might be confusing[edit source]

In the title and much of the contents, the word 'Windows Embedded 2009' is used, however only describing the POSReady variant. There does exists Windows Embedded 2009 Standard which still requires building an image with Target Designer, like Windows XP Embedded. They should be separated IMO.

Wrong build string and compile date?[edit source]

Where did the build string "2.0.282.xpsp.080413-2111" come from? Looking at all the screenshots, the build string is clearly labeled "2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.080814-1236". That also means this build was compiled on 2008-08-14, not 2008-04-13!!! Nibbler's Shadow (talk) 15:14, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

It's the build string for the Embedded components. winver is not really representative of these. --Ryuzaki (talk | contribs) 15:36, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Why does it have a timebomb?[edit source]

Like it's not a pre-release build.Abdullah Naeem (talk) 19:29, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

The version of the build that was featured here is the Evaluation version. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 23:41, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
