Can't install on VirtualBox

I can't install this build on VirtualBox by any means, even when starting setup, I still can't get to the setup of this build. Brennan1234567890 (talk) 23:33, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

Are you starting setup from dossetup.bat from DOS or from setup.exe as a Windows 3.1 upgrade? Anyway, it is not recommended to use VirtualBox or VMware for Windows 9x. You should better consider emulators like 86Box for this. - 178.247.105.151 02:05, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

Like ANY Win9x build. Such builds were designed to run on 386/486, later Pentium systems, not on the currently latest Intel Core/AMD Ryzen processors. - Bob2204 Click here to begin. Or here. Talk - 11:04, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

What is the "Tabbed mode"?

Opening the file in a hex editor reveals that the option would go below the "Folder list" option under the View menu. The program also calls SysTabControl. I experimented with an installation of this build to see if I would get tabbed browsing, but think I've got an interesting result (not tabbed browsing, but a GPF in USER.EXE). Can't upgrade to this build
