Aren't you able to take and upload them yourselves or do you have something else to do? 🤨 - Windows logo (2003).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 18:46, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
I can't install or run that build on QEMU, so i can't create the screenshots of the build. Windows logo (2021).svg Lazytown Sportacus (LazytownSpo4015) Talk page 13:27, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Don't you use VMware? - Windows logo (2003).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 16:38, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Since this is an ARM build, to install it on VMware the host system needs to have an ARM CPU, and there's a possibility that they're installing the build on an x86 host. NaraInsider1694 (talk) 21:10, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Oops, didn't notice this. Though emulating ARM on x86 may be considered slow, as I can tell from my experiences when I used QEMU to emulate PPC for Mac OS X. - Windows logo (2003).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 21:20, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
It's quite easy to emulate this build. Just use the patched Qemu exe for WinRT and follow the instructions located on any other WinRT page on this wiki.--Cartifanwlr (talk) 05:18, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
I tried emulating the build using the patched version of QEMU, but it gave me a 0x5C early boot error. all i want is the screenshots of the build listed above, and i don't want to waste my time buying a new surface RT to install the build. Considering that this is an RTM Escrow build, I don't think it's necessary to have those screenshots. -- HawHoo (talk | contribs) 18:52, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
Is this even necessary? There's barely any significant change between this and the final RTM build, given that it was compiled during the final stabilization and testing phases. - pivotman319 (📫) 05:54, 4 April 2023 (UTC)
Yes, it is necessary. Windows logo (2021).svg Lazytown Sportacus (LazytownSpo4015) Talk page 08:48, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
My answer to that is "absolutely not". You can upload images if you want to (as long as you have a physical Surface RT device lying around), but there's really no need to. Just the desktop and winver images are enough to lay down the base article fundamentals. - pivotman319 (📫) 16:36, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
But I guess we could if we use snip &sketch if it is available in 8509 arm 156.203.49.16
There was no Snip&Sketch in Windows RT, this is a Windows 10 thing. There is the earlier Snipping Tool instead. Windows logo (2003).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 17:13, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
oh yes I mean that snipping tool, and also we can use QEMU that can run Win RT and then screenshot the vm capture using the vm or a screenshot tool 156.203.49.16
As stated above. 🙄 Windows logo (2003).svg Bob2204 Arrow.png Click here to begin. Or here. Arrow2.png Talk 17:19, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
LazytownSpo4015, explain yourself. There are essentially no differences between this build and the RTM, there are no need for the extra images. I'd like to hear your own reasoning why we need those images. And don't come to me with "page consistency" --Cartifanwlr (talk) 19:19, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
