OS/2 Warp 4.5, also known as OS/2 Warp Server for e-Business, is a version of OS/2 for servers, which was released in April 1999.

Main changes[edit | edit source]

  • The WarpCenter is now located at the bottom rather than at the top, much like the taskbar in Windows.
  • Installation is now done with two CDs, one to boot into setup and the other one to install the system. The creation of bootable floppy disks is still possible with a batch file for DOS or a command file for OS/2 located on the boot CD.
  • Support for newer hardware was added, e.g. the Scitech Display Doctor for VirtualBox or the S3 ViRGE family of display adapters.
