OS/2 Warp 4 is a version of OS/2, which was officially released to market on 25 September 1996.

  • The new WarpCenter replaces the previous Launchpad as the default user interface.
  • This version introduces the VoiceType speech recognition software.
  • Added OpenGL, OpenDoc and Java support.
  • Support for the 386 processor was dropped, now requiring a 486 processor or later.
