OS/2 Warp 4 build 9.012 is an alpha build of OS/2 Warp 4, which was uploaded to BetaArchive on 1 February 2014.[1] This build reports the version as 9.99. It includes new icons that would be used in the RTM. The lock screen background has been removed and now only opens a window asking the user to enter the password to unlock the computer. It has been mislabeled as 9.014, 9.016, and 8.239. This build also is the earliest build of OS/2 to have WarpCenter which is present in the form as a addon, though Launchpad is still the default shell. WarpCenter in some places refers to itself as Lotus SmartCenter. This build also has a updated UI in some places.
