OS/2 Warp 4 build 9.017 is a build of OS/2 Warp 4. This build still reports the version as 9.99. This is the earliest known build to replace LaunchPad with WarpCenter as the default user interface. This build also introduces VoiceType.

VoiceType[edit | edit source]

VoiceType is very unstable in this build. If it cannot find a microphone, it will trigger a crash.

Installation[edit | edit source]

Installing this build on a FAT (File Allocation Table) partition will result in setup crashing. This is not the case if installed on a HPFS (High Performance File System) partition.
