Windows XP build 2462 (main.010315-1720) is the checked/debug variant of the official Beta 2 build of Windows XP, first released to testers on 19 March 2001 and later distributed to the general public on 26 March[1] alongside its free/retail variant, which was built nineteen minutes later.[2]
An IA-64 Free variant of this build which was provided to a select group of testers is also known to exist according to German tech news magazine heise online;[3] although the variant itself has not seen a public release and therefore remains unleaked as of 2024.
