Windows Vista build 5268 is an unconfirmed pre-Beta 2 build of Windows Vista. The user ragnar88 uploaded some screenshots from this build, which he got through Microsoft Partner Program on aeroxp.net on 5 December 2005[1], WinFuture.de reported about this build on 7 December [2][3] with more information, followed by Yesky on 23 December[4].

Some icons were slightly altered to match their final iterations, such as Internet Explorer and the Recycle Bin, as this build is similar to the build 5270.
