Windows 98 build 1666 is an interim build of Windows 98 that was found on the Crazybytes 23 warez CD and was later uploaded to BetaArchive on 24 July 2013.
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- A "Microsoft Home" link has been added to the Control Panel.
- The Welcome to Windows 98 application now has a checkbox that allows the user to launch the application when Windows starts, making it resemble the RTM.
- The "Setup the Microsoft Network" icon on the desktop has been renamed to "Set Up The Microsoft Network".
