Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
USB 3.0/xHCI[edit | edit source]
This build appears to have a broken xHCI driver, and therefore will crash during setup if USB 3.0 is enabled. Disabling USB 3.0 for the VM (or from BIOS/UEFI, on real hardware) should fix this problem.
DPI settings crash[edit | edit source]
Adjusting the DPI settings will result in a bugcheck after attempting to apply changes.
Compatibility[edit | edit source]
To install or run this build in VMware Workstation, the hardware compatibility must be set to version 9.x or 8.x; otherwise, a bugcheck will occur.
Desktop wallpaper change[edit | edit source]
Attempting to change the wallpaper to the other ones, including the preinstalled themes always results in the default Windows 7-like wallpaper being reverted. Sometimes, an "Unsaved Theme" may be created with the aforementioned wallpaper and default color schemes. If the wallpaper is modified, it will be pitch black on the desktop.
Windows Defender crash[edit | edit source]
Although Windows Defender is still capable of detecting viruses in the background, it crashes with error code 0x800b0101
.
